Background
Hello, I’m Don Means. Since the early 1990s, I have manufactured and supplied propane labels. Over time, the exchange propane label has been known as a tank label, stretch label, shrink label, and wrap label, causing some sourcing confusion. I am currently collaborating with Kiliper Corp. in Ames, Iowa, to offer a full range of services, from design to final label production. I regard myself as highly knowledgeable about the sleeve industry, covering all aspects from design to application.

With today’s negativity towards pressure-sensitive label removal during the reconditioning process of returned exchange tanks, I wanted to take some time to introduce you to stretch sleeves.
Welcome to Propane Stretch Sleeve, Wraps, or Label.
Labels are made from a 3-mil clear or white low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and are recyclable.
We offer a private label program that allows you to add your logo, creating a personalized stretch sleeve or wrap label instead of using a generic propane label.
Our printing press can accommodate up to eight colors, and our sleeves and wraps have 360° print capabilities. Additionally, we can incorporate four-color process images onto your sleeve or wrap.
These products are durable and can withstand outdoor conditions, including rain, sunlight, and snow.
As a private label manufacturer, we have a minimum order requirement of 5,000 sleeves or wraps, with the capacity to produce up to 1,000,000's
Application
A Sleeve or Wrap slides over the container like a rubber band and requires NO Heat or Adhesives. Sleeves can be machine applied as well as by hand.
Kiliper is one of the leading manufacturers of stretch sleeve labels in the United States.
Stretch sleeves are widely used in the propane tank exchange programs throughout the United States.
